1. Nvidia Promised $235 Billion. Last Quarter Cash Came to $21 Billion 💸📉 Nvidia's board authorized another $150 billion of buybacks, taking the total authorization to $235 billion. Free cash flow last quarter was $21.3 billion, down from $48.6 billion, after receivables climbed $22.3 billion when Nvidia stretched big customers from 90 days to a full year. It then sold $24.9 billion of bonds, its first debt offering in five years.

Costco's Gas Pump Handed Back Half the Membership Fee ⛽🧾 Costco members saved more than $3.2 billion at its gas stations in fiscal 2026, while the company collected $5.91 billion in membership fees over the same 52 weeks. That is 54% of the fee line given straight back, in a year when fees produced half of operating income. The $65 card looks cheap because Costco works hard at making it look cheap.

Leica Makes 45 Cameras a Day and Calls That the Strategy 📷🔒 Leica's Wetzlar plant turns out about 45 M-series rangefinders a day, priced from roughly $7,000 for a film M6 to more than $10,000 for a digital M11. On BMA's estimate those famous bodies bring in about 12% of the company's €573 million in revenue. The German factory is the showroom, and the growing happens on other people's assembly lines.

4. Amazon Blocked Meta's Shopping Agent Over $8.27 🛒🚫 Amazon earns $8.27 of advertising per $100 of merchandise sold. Shopify earns $3.07 in total per $100 and waved the very same Meta agent through by default. An agent that skips the browsing and lands on checkout deletes precisely the impressions Amazon sells, so one company saw a customer and the other saw a missing ad slot.

Prada Says Its Best Clients Return €7 per €1 👜✈️ Prada flew more than 100 top customers to Milan for private access to Leonardo's "Last Supper" and first dibs on a revived 1920s crocodile bag at a little over $20,000. Chief executive Andrea Guerra says those clients spend about €7 with Prada for every euro spent entertaining them, and rivals claim up to 10 to one. At Prada's 78.3% gross margin the program only breaks even if about 18% of that spending would not have happened anyway.
